Road & Mountain Races
Six races over two days on the south tip of Lefkada. Everything starts and finishes on the harbour front at Vasiliki, between the water and the pine ridge behind the village.
2o Lefkas Fun Run Half Marathon, 11 October 2026
Half marathon, 10 km and 5 km on tarmac, plus a 1000 m children's race. Organised by the Lefkada Tourism Company.
Every race starts from the village harbour. You run the seafront promenade first, then out into the Vasiliki plain past hundreds of olive trees, all of it on tarmac. Flat and fast, and good preparation before the Athens Authentic Marathon.

Road and mountain weekend, 18 and 19 June 2027
Friday runs from midday to evening and ends with the road race down from Porto Katsiki. Saturday is the mountain day, with both loops above the bay.
Pine trail above the water
The hill behind Vasiliki is planted with cypress and pine, and the paths through it are narrow, soft underfoot and shaded almost the whole way. You climb out of the village within the first kilometre.
Higher up the trail opens onto olive terraces and dirt track with the Ionian on three sides. On a clear morning you can see Ithaca and Kefalonia from the ridge.
Every course drops back to the same place: the concrete quay by the fishing boats, where the finish arch goes up.

Coach, bed and a start number for the June weekend
For the June 2027 races we run a package: coach out of Athens on Friday 18 June, a bed in Vasiliki, entry to every race you want to start, and a medal at the end of it.
